We have a "can-do" culture and strive to deliver flexible supply chain solutions for our customers." 1st Fleet, The Company 1st Fleet is a privately owned and operated proprietary limited company. 1st Fleet was established in New South Wales in 1988 and rapidly grew to become a reputable service provider in the 3PL market place. To gain a national presence, 1st Fleet, acquired Cadima Express in 1997 and quickly developed an express division providing a premium inter and intra state road express freight service operated by company personnel in company owned vehicles and dedicated terminals in each capital city. In 1998, 1st Fleet, frustrated with the recruitment industry's inability to provide a quality service to meet it's flexibility criteria and rapid expansion, created its own service provider. The establishment of "LABOURFORCE SOLUTIONS" as a commercial entity to service national in house requirements and extend this unique differential to the broader national logistics market place. 1st Fleet in 2003, recognizing that clients required it to have the capability of providing a complete supply chain solution, acquired "RMS-DAS" a privately owned national company regarded as "The Supply Chain Solutions Company". This acquisition increased the 1st Fleet national warehouse capacity by a further twelve (12) facilities of 85,000m² and service offer capabilities to include: · Multi user and dedicated warehouse · Pick and Pack · In house freight forwarding, licensed bonded stores and customs agency 1st Fleet currently employs nationally in excess of 1200 permanent full time staff and operate in excess of 600 pieces of company owned transport equipment. With the growth of the Print Media division a Courier business was initially gained to deliver to supermarkets. 1st Fleet purchased the Zip Response Group Courier business in July 2005. This provided the ability to take all small drops off the larger trucks and increase their productivity and also save our clients money. 1st Fleet will continue to grow organically and be supplemented by strategic acquisitions from time to time that compliment or enhance our core competency.
