Zip Express Couriers filled that gap nationally ,providing an excellent and cost effective service, so good was the service and the potential extension of opportunities within the 1stFleet Group that an offer was made and accepted to acquire the business which was effected in June 2005.

Unavoidably and traditionally all businesses have a degree of small and or urgent shipments,normally 1st Fleet and other carriers would piggy back these with larger shipments on bigger trucks,now within the 1stFleet Group all small shipments are integrated with the Zip Express Couriers daily activity providing a more cost effective and timely service.
